Customer care - Stewards are to make people aware that if there are any problems about anyones health or anyone needs help with anything for example that they are there to help.
Access- The access to the venue can get restricted because of large crowds and lots of vehicles around the venue so stewards are to keep crowds moving and make sure traffic can keep moving round the surrounding area of the venue.
Que management- This is where stewards need to be assertive and ask people to for an orderly Que and just to be patient if it is taking a while at the ticket office or at specific areas of the ground where people are entering the event.
Marshaling- This is where stewards are to be making themselves seen and looking out for specific people who may be trouble makers or causing disruption to the event. Also to ensure safety to the general public .
Id Management- This is where tickets/Id badges are given so that people can be identified and on the other hand if they can't be identified or don't have the correct Id they wont be able to get into the venue, this is so that people who haven't paid for the event of people who arn't supposed to be there cant get in and cause major disruption.
Ensure health and safety- Making sure all procedures are in place to ensure maximum customer safety and that nobody is doing anything that may cause injury to themselves or to others. Procedures need to be in place prior to the event and problems should be eradicated before they come about.

Team members: All stewards have the same responsibility as each other making sure they use correct techniques and are doing their role correctly as they have been told to do in their briefing.
Supervisors: In charge of a group of stewards making sure everyone is OK at all times.
Chief Steward: Making sure there are enough stewards in certain positions and that their own well fair is OK at all times any making sure stewards are having breaks if needed. Also he/she will have the final say on any situation that occurs so if anything is kicking off they need to be in contact at all times so they can make decisions when needed.
Control room operators: To ensure effective communication and to check that all positions are OK at all times and to keep informed of any situations getting out of hand or general Sit Reps.
Emergency services: To provide back up in any situation needing more men on the ground or for any injuries or emergencies at an event.
Security: Using camera surveillance to check around the area of the event and also inside the event in case of any problems or potential problems so that they can see, so they can be eliminated asap to prevent further disruption to the event. Also using the cameras as evidence if any problems happen.

1.9 Describe how the roles and responsibilities of other people relate to the stewarding team
Without all the other people that participate in the preparation and running of events stewards would not be able to do their jobs probably because they would have too much to do and this would make them ineffective. The status of the police, security and chief stewards warn off criminals and crime. Stewards are also not able to provide first aid and assistance that is anywhere close to what paramedics and st-john do.
On the other hand without stewards events would not be able to go ahead because their simply isn’t enough police officers and security personal to do it by themselves.(Danny C and Tom w)
