1.6 outline why it is important for stewards to remain calm and follow instructions when there are potential crowd problems.

If the stewards get out of control as well as the crowd or loose their temper then it can make the situation worse and create more problems.

1.7 identify situations in which stewards may place themselves and others at risk when trying to respond to potential crowd problems.

A single steward confronting or dealing with a large crowd. A gun scare could create major problems when people panic which could then put others at risk of injury.

1.8 identify how stewards can avoid placing themselves and others at risk when trying to respond to potential crowd problems.

Not approaching someone who is wielding a gun or a knife because this can make things worse in this case waiting for backup and assistant from professionals would be vital.  

2.1 outline why it is important for stewards to recognize and respond to illegal and unsociable behavior.

It can easily get out of hand very quickly if it is not dealt with but needs dealing with properly.

2.2 identify the types of illegal behavior that may occur at spectator event.

Drug taking, underage drinking and excessive drinking, pyrotechnics, Anti social behavior and fighting.  

2.3 outline the procedures stewards should follow when they encounter illegal

behavior.

Contact appropriate services such as police or ambulance, try to calm the situation by removing people or groups of people which are causing distress to the situation. 

2.4 identify the types of unsociable behavior that may occur at spectator events.

Fighting, drug taking, excessive drinking etc...

2.5 outline the procedures stewards should follow when they encounter unsociable

behavior.

correct protocol and contacting appropriate services and management to inform of the situation.
