2.1 & 2.2 - Describe the appropriate standards of behaviour for stewards at spectator events.

2.1 Describe appropriate standards of appearance for stewards at spectator events.

Stewards need to be in some kind of uniform when working at events. This involves:

 The same standard for everyone

Being clean, Tidy, Smart, Boots polished, Clothes ironed and having a shaven face.
Uniform will vary dependant of the type of event that you are stewarding. They not only need to look smart but they need to look like a team. They need to do this because the spectators may take advantage of them if they are not working together and working as a team.
For example, if stewards are stewarding a event such as a festival then stewards would usually wear: boots, warm clothes, high visibility vests and some kind of company jumper/coat

2.2 - Describe the appropriate standards of behaviour for stewards at spectator events.

Stewards need to have a good level of self discipline when at spectator events because they are there to set a good example and look after the public. They need to look professional and need to be well behaved when interacting with the public and other members of the stewarding team. If members of the public see that the stewards aren't doing their jobs properly then they may take advantage of them and start causing trouble.

Stewards also need to be: reliable, punctual, professional, honest,
