2.8 & 2.9 - Outline procedures stewards should follow to check their resorces and report fault.

2.8 - Outline why it is important for stewards to look after the resources the recieve.

Equipment safe and secure:

Its very important any equipment used by anyone is kept in good condition and working order. Also when it comes to the next event, the equipment will be usable again and again if it's well looked after.
Stewarding equipment E.G a radio needs to be well looked after because it could be used in
a emergency for a injured or distressed person.

2.9 - Outline procedures stewards should follow to check their resorces and report fault.

The employee or organisers will set out procedures for checking achievements and faults.
stewards should test there equipment before using it, for example doing a radio check to
all call signs and identifying any communication problems so the broken part can be taken to the team leader and exchanged for another E.G dead battery.  It's vital that communication is up
and running with no problems because radios could be needed in situations.
